All of our kitchen utensils are made of Rock Maple which is the mineral section of the sugar tree grown here in Ontario, Canada. All of the dark lines and markings you see are actually minerals (rocks) embedded in the wood.

This wood is extremely hard which is what we needed to create the spring for our tongs. While testing, we also discovered that the density of Rock Maple made our utensils unstainable. Maple also has antibacterial properties making it a safer and healthier choice for your food preparation.

Our goal was to create new wooden tools that really work for you... like a curved spatula for round frying pans and one-handed salad tongs. The result is a line of Rock Maple kitchen utensils that are ambidextrous, beautiful, long lasting and most of all, useful.
